Afro-American born actor Samuel Leroy Jackson is our MCM for this week. The A-list actor has starred in a lot of movies and has bagged several awards to his name.

He attended the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia having initially started out to get a degree in Marine Biology but ended up graduating with a Bachelor of Arts after falling in love with acting while in a local acting group to get extra points in classes. Samuel was the only child born to Elizabeth and Roy Henry Jackson and grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was raised by his mother as his father, who he only saw twice before his death lived far from the family in Kansas and later died of alcoholism.
He has starred in so many A-list movies like Kong: Skull Island where he played the role of Preston Packard, A United States Army Lieutenant Colonel and also in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which included blockbuster movies like Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. He was also in the T.V series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also features in animated films such as; The Incredibles, The Incredibles 2 and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The Iconic character was also the voice behind Frank Tenpenny in one Rockstar Studios best selling games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Samuel Jackson is married to LaTanya Richardson, the couple have been together since 1980 and have a daughter Zoe, who was born in 1982. Samuel was said to have met LaTanya, who is also in the acting field during his time as an undergraduate at Morehouse. The couple started a charity organization of their own to help support education. Among his hobbies are collecting action figures of the characters he portrayed in movies.
Our MCM has won so many awards which includes 1 BAFTA award, 1 Black Reel award and 4 NAACP image awards. He has also gotten nominations for the Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. He currently holds the record for the actor with the highest-grossing of all time aside cameo appearances. He is estimated to be worth around $220 million to $250million.
