Kanye West seems to be taking his new found faith seriously, as he had recently placed a ban on North West making up. Kanye who just recently released a Christain themed album “Jesus is King” said his new spiritual approach to life had changed his views.
Kim Kardashian who seemed not to be getting any of it said “It’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now, but it is what’s best.” Although the two seem to have come to an agreement over the way their 6-year-old daughter, North West should look.
In an interview with Zane Lowe for Beat 1, Kanye West said that even though he was cool with North rocking lipstick when she was younger, he’s since changed his mind. “A smart man has the ability to pivot to say I think something different now. I don’t think this because it’s the culture,” West said. ” I don’t think North should wear crop tops just because I had her wearing a slip dress when she was 2 years old.”
While Kim was at an event to promote her KKW make up line at Ulta Beauty, she told reporters, “North is trying to get in on the makeup, but she’s being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager.” “It’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now, but it is what’s best.”
“I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realized we didn’t really want her to wear makeup at a young age but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss.”
As North West can’t put on make ups again, Kim said she has now transition to being obsessed with her curls. “She’s now very particular about how her hair is,” adds KKW. “For school yesterday, she said, ‘I want a ponytail and a braid.’ So, I did a ponytail with four braids coming out of it. She looked at it and was like, ‘This is not what I said. I said I wanted a braid going into the ponytail.’ So particular.”
